Glasshouse
Your words are glass I can’t pick out
That look of yours acid, it won’t wash off
love is a flame, flickering
Sears if you get too close to it
No one told me love could burn
Or be so fragile, it can crack
Crumble away into nothingness
No one thought theirs would be the one
extinguished,
Rollover too fast and put out the flames.
Luckily you can fan them too,
and maybe, just maybe
once in a while you do.
